Bird Key is a quiet, private island oasis literally situated right in the middle of it all. Downtown lies just across the Ringling Bridge to the east, and St Armands Circle and Lido Key within striking distance to the west.
There is also a 3 acre city park just across from the entrance to the key which is called Bird Key Park. This park that stretches from the Ringling Bridge and is great for dogs as well as stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, and windsurfing.
